This EP is really nice. SJ’s Pockets is the debut release from Brixton, England based musician and producer Simon Jefferis.

A new single from his Between Memories & Choices project. This has a nice sound.

Hailing from Montreal, Morti channels DJ Shadow and RJD2 on this track.
Kaytranada “2017 – 38” + “2017 07 04”
These dropped on Soundcloud today (Sept. 4). Not intended for a project, just a few loose instrumental tracks. Of the 3, these are our favorites.
X-ian Divyne “Recycling Bin [Beat Tape]”
Shreveport, LA based X-ian Divyne just released a beat tape. A few promising tracks on this one.
EVI “I Know”
Dusty crate boom bap with a bit of vocal sampling to help tell the story.

If you’re a fan of Odesza, you’ll probably get into this. “Apex” is the lead single from the duos forthcoming release dropping September 20th.
Sweeps “Ain’t No”
Soulful and funky. Digging the way Sweeps used the vocal sample on this one.

Mike Lightz “Distance”

Torin Bell “Txt Me”
Downtempo producer Torin Bell sends along “Txt Me”. The track features some nice strings and might just put a smile on your face.
Bels Lontano “Handle”
More of that Flying Lotus and Prefuse 73 vibe on this one. It starts a bit slow but at about 1:05 kicks in.
Tomas Novoa “Vuelta al Sol”
This one is a bit more EDM heavy than what we normally share but it stuck in my head. Really reminds of Radiohead and Bonobo. Chill. Let us know what you think.
